Flights due to arrive at Bristol Airport last night (March 12) were forced to land in London last minute. Adverse weather conditions meant four flights due to land in Bristol were diverted to both Gatwick and London Standsted Airport.
Bristol Airport confirmed the four flights were diverted yesterday and said that it was "normal procedure" for adverse weather conditions. They also apologised for any disruption and inconvenience it caused to customers.
Passengers were left disappointed by the late change to their flights meaning many were left stranded in the capital. One anonymous woman was particularly displeased and said: "It was just disgusting to be lied to for hours only to just be stranded with no information or communication."
