The fourth edition of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) University Pitchfest 2022 will see five teams pitching their innovative ideas to a panel of successful entrepreneurs and angel investors at the grand finale scheduled to be held in Mysuru on March 31.
Organised by TiE Mysuru chapter to promote and encourage student entrepreneurship, the TiE University Pitchfest 2022 received about 100 applications from across the State. “A journey that started 60 days ago, witnessed a group of young yet zealous students pitch their ideas - their blueprint for a bright entrepreneurial future. Guided by TiE Mysuru Mentors, and driven by passion, their ideas have been chiselled and they are now ready to deliver their Final Pitch”, said a statement from TiE.
The five teams shortlisted by the experts after an elaborate screening process include Aeronuts, an edtech start-up; Drona Automations, a robotics start-up’ JebSetu, an online job search portal;, Bin Tricks, a construction waste management and recycling start-up; and Team Code Eco, a technology start-up.
The jury comprises Ajith Pai, founder and partner, PaiPal Ventures; Pavan Ranga, founder and CEO, Rangsons Aerospace; and Anantha Bhat, founder and director, Chowki Services.
The winner will recieve cash prizes upto ₹ 1 lakh, TiE Mysuru annual membership, and unlimited mentorship from TiE Mysuru members to scale their ideas to the next level.
The winner of TiE University Pitchfest 2022 will represent TiE Mysuru at the TiE Global Pitchfest, which will be held in the month of May for a prize of $100,000 in cash and kind.
TiE University Pitchfest finale will be followed by a talk as part of the Founder Series by Srinivas Varadarajan, founder and CEO of Vigyanlabs Innovations, a company from Mysuru with a global footprint.
A statement from TiE Mysuru said Mr. Srinivas Varadarajan has 7 US patents and also serves as Vice-President and Governing Board Member on the Board of Cloud Computing Innovation Council of India, besides providing technology advisory services to UIDAI, India Post, ADB and other companies.
