Everyone went nuts when Aldi first released their low-cal, high protein puddings. The pots tend to fly off the shelves but those that get their hands on them have found ways to elevate the delicious puddings into desserts.
People have been sharing their recipes on TikTok, using the £1.19 Brooklea Protein Puddings to make tasty, healthier, protein-filled treats.

Here are five recipes you can try using Aldi protein pudding
High protein Rice Krispies buns
Just like normal Rice Krispies treats, but with a lot more protein.
Sharing their quick and easy recipe on TikTok, user @Blastabites said the Aldi pudding rice krispies treats are a great high protein snack idea “that tastes amazing and involves no cooking.”
Ingredients - Makes 10 treats
60g Rice Krispies
2x Aldi chocolate protein pudding pots
25g mini marshmallows
The method is easy - the hardest part is perhaps getting your hands on the protein pots in the first place!
Mix all your ingredients together and spoon the mixture into bun cases. Pop the buns into the freezer for 30 minutes. The TikToker recommends allowing them to thaw slightly before tucking in.
She says each treat contains 63kcal, 5g of protein, 10g carbohydrates, and 1g of fat.
Protein pancakes
Ingredients - makes 6 pancakes
1 x Aldi protein pot (chocolate or vanilla recommended)
80g self-raising flour
1 x egg
½ tsp baking powder
Blueberries/Raspberries
Greek yoghurt
Maple syrup
Mix the flour, baking powder and egg into a bowl until everything is mixed through, giving you your pancake mixture - @nutritionwithkatie says the mix will be quite thick.
Spoon your mixture on to a hot, oiled pan. Add some blueberries or raspberries to each pancake. Cook for around 2 minutes each side.
Katie added about 50g of Greek yoghurt in between each pancake before drizzling them in maple syrup. They are 538 calories (not including the maple syrup) but are a whopping 40g of protein.
Melted Pud
Try microwaving your pots to melt the pudding. Many people on TikTok have been doing this and dipping strawberries into it - quick, easy, and delicious!
Crumbled biscuits
Another easy way to enhance your protein pots is to add a bit of crumbled biscuit.
The Real Loss Boss says adding crumbling up a biscuit will take your dessert “to the next level.”
He recommends adding a pack of Aldi’s Safari Snacks to the chocolate pot - just use a rolling pin to crush the cookies up first. This dessert is 254 calories.
If you’re having a Vanilla Protein Pudding, the TikToker recommends adding a crushed up Jammy Wheels Mini, making your protein treat 243 calories.
Finally, if you have the caramel flavour, he recommends popping in an Aldi caramelised biscuit to improve your dessert, making your treat 236 calories.
‘Rolo’ pots
Another popular, no cooking required, way to make a tasty treat is by mixing two flavours together.
People have been mixing the chocolate and caramel flavours to give a ‘Rolo’ effect.
Pop half of the caramel pudding in the bottom of a ramekin dish, topped with a layer of the chocolate pudding. It’s pretty much ready to go after that, however some people recommend setting the mix in the fridge!
