A 'fit and healthy' university student and model died aged 19 after going to A&E with what he believed was a worsening sinus infection. Tributes are being paid to Harvey Edwards, described by his devastated friends as 'just one of the most genuine people around'.
Feeling unwell, the teenager first went to hospital on June 6. He is understood to have been taking antibiotics for a sinus infection but when his symptoms continued to worsen, he returned days later on June 13.
Harvey was given an MRI scan then told he had a bleed on his brain. In a bid to tackle the bleed and alleviate pressure on the teenager's brain, he was told he would need to be put in an induced coma. Sadly Harvey went on to suffer a stroke and his family had to make the heartbreaking decision to turn off his life support on June 28.
