First Dates to launch podcast with Frankie Bridge and Cici Coleman and they need your dating stories

If you have a crazy dating story to tell then the producers of Channel 4’s First Dates want a word with you. A casting call has gone out for a new podcast spin-off of the show, which has been running since 2013.

People from all over the UK are being invited to tell some of their wildest dating experiences in a new show hosted by The Saturdays’ Frankie Bridge and First Dates waitress Cici Coleman. According to the casting call the dating stories can be “outrageous, heart-warming, hilarious, inspiring or just all-round entertaining”.

Don’t worry if you’re not single at the moment, either, as producers want couples to be involved too. Would you consider taking part? Let us know in the comments.

People selected to take part in the new podcast will be invited to a recording studio in London to share their stories. The new podcast is a joint production between production studio Podimo and Twenty Twenty productions, the makers of First Dates.

As many people will know, First Dates sees single men and women go on blind dates. At the end of the date, they are interviewed together and asked if they would like to see each other again.

Participants have been asked to get in touch with the First Dates team via the email firstdatespodcast@twentytwenty.tv. First Dates: The Podcast is especially on the lookout for people from Yorkshire, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
