First Dates star Fred Sirieix shared an update on his health from a hospital bed.
The Channel 4 face took to his Instagram Stories to let his fans know that he had undergone major surgery. The 50-year-old had not long come round from his operation when he decided to let his followers know what had been going on.
In the clip, he looked calm as he sat up on the bed while wearing a hospital gown. The maître d'hôtel went on to share a shot of his legs covered in bandages.

Fred said: "Right... double knee operation was a success. I'm still coming around from the anaesthesia but all good! I'm about to have my Earl Grey tea."
Since his op, he has shown support for the NHS as the nurses went on strike yesterday. He backed the medical workers as he said that the strikes are about patient care and safety and not just for money.
Fred wrote: "It is a very hard and important job. If we don't look after the nurses then who will look after us when we are sick?"
He added: "The thing is we will all go to hospital sooner or later. The NHS need enough well paid and motivated staff to deliver the care we all expect. It is a false economy not to invest in health and social care."
