First Bus are offering £3 unlimited tickets for those attending Leeds Pride this year.
It has been two years since the diversity event was able to take place following the Covid-19 pandemic. This weekend, a parade will take place in the city on Sunday (August 7), where LGBTQI+ flags will fly high above Leeds.
In Victoria Quarter there is a large flag painted on the ground, and there are several events happening around the city. The event will bring people together for a day of fun, friendship, and community spirit.

This weekend will mark 17 years of pride events in Leeds. It is expected that a lot of people will be travelling into the city specifically for the event.
The good news is that if you are using First Bus, they are hosting a ‘Ride with Pride’ campaign. Special travel support is being offered and hopes will benefit lower income households and disadvantaged groups.
The bus operator will be offering a special Pride Day ticket allowing for unlimited travel across Leeds for just £3, on the First Bus App in the 'Promotions' section. Tickets will be available to purchase on the day and will be valid on Sunday only.
First Bus will have their 'Ride with pride' double decker as part of the Leeds Pride parade and before parking up at the festival site with a stall and plenty of games, giving away free bus tickets. Liaqat Ali from Leeds Pride said: "It’s great to have Leeds City, by First Bus, onboard as a sponsor for 2022, with their help and support this fantastic offer helps people from across Leeds easily and cost effectively get to and from Pride and enjoy the day fully."
