Firefighters in Dublin were called to a blaze that broke out in a high-rise apartment building in Blanchardstown on Sunday.
Seven Dublin Fire Brigade units were dispatched to battle the fire at the apartment complex at Falcon View, located next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, which was reported shortly before 4:30pm.
Gardaí were also in attendance at the scene assisting Dublin Fire Brigade at the fire in the apartment block situated just minutes from Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

In a statement released on Twitter, Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed the blaze, posting: “Seven units are currently attending a fire in a high-rise building in Blanchardstown.
“Smoke is visible but we have firefighters on scene dealing with the incident.”
In a statement to the Irish Mirror as the fire was ongoing, Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed the blaze was reported just before 4:30pm.
A spokesperson said: "Dublin Fire Brigade are currently responding to a fire in a high-rise building off the Blanchardstown Road South.
"The fire was reported shortly before 4:30pm and seven units are on scene including two turntable ladders. Operations are continuing at the incident."
It was later confirmed that the fire was brought under control by 5:30pm, with Dublin Fire Brigade adding that no injuries were reported.
The spokesperson added: "At 4:30pm today, the Eastern Regional Communication Centre (located at Tara Street fire station) received multiple 999 calls reporting a fire at the Falcons View apartment block in Blanchardstown.
"A high-rise response was sent to the incident with the fire being brought under control by 5:30pm. Seven fire engines, a turntable ladder and senior officers attended the fire.
"As of 6:30pm the response has been scaled back and firefighters will remain on scene damping down hotspots. No injuries have been reported. "
Gardaí also confirmed to the Irish Mirror they were assisting Dublin Fire Brigade at the scene of the blaze: “Gardaí in Blanchardstown are currently at scene assisting Dublin Fire Brigade at a fire of an apartment block at Falcon View, Blanchardstown this afternoon, Sunday, May 28, 2023.
“No further details are available at this time.”
