Lane one of the M32 northbound between junctions two and three was closed for around 20 minutes as fire crews dealt with the blaze.

The fire was extinguished by around 11.15am, and the fire service then provided an update on their response.

The spokesperson said: "Lorry has been moved into the grounds of local metal yard, away from side of M32.

"Crews used 45mm jets to extinguish the fire, before emptying the lorry of its contents and now remain on scene damping down the area."
