A large fire broke out at a flat in Southmead this morning (April 5) triggering a response from six firefighters, the police and ambulance service.
Crews were called to a residential building on Lakewood Road, and found one flat alight and smoke logging the building and surrounding flats.
Any injuries have not yet been confirmed and the cause of the fire is currently unknown.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Southmead, Temple, Avonmouth and Kingswood were called to reports of a fire.
"On arrival, they found one flat alight and smoke logging the the building and surrounding flats. Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus for safety used two high pressure hose reels, covering jets and thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the blaze.
"Crews are joined by police, ambulance and HART colleagues at the scene. The cause of the fire is currently unknown."
South Western Ambulance Service and Avon and Somerset Police have been approached for comment.
