A major emergency services response is underway as a top floor flat is engulfed in flames next to East Craigs Primary School.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service are all in attendance as black smoke can be seen billowing from a top floor flat at Craigievar House.
Flames could be seen exiting the building on either side with one local saying that the nearby school had to be evacuated.

The property, which is situated on Craigmount Brae between the Mid Yoken pub and the local East Craigs School has been cordoned off by the emergency services.
A cordon around the block looks to have been set up by Police Scotland and at least four appliances from SFRS could be seen in front of the building along with an ambulance.
Around six police cars are also understood to be at the scene of the incident that occurred shortly after 3pm on June 14.
Laurie Bamber, a local who witnessed the fire from the nearby pub, said: “The fire looks to be getting worse.
“There are a lot of people watching it unfold. I saw at least four fire engines and at least six or so police cars.
“It is really shocking to see. They have had to evacuate the school behind the building as the fire seems worse there.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are in attendance to assist with traffic management due to a fire at a property on Craigmount Brae, Edinburgh. A school nearby has been evacuated as a precaution.People are advised to avoid the area and local residents should keep windows and doors closed."
