A former financial advisor convicted of stealing more than $1 million from his clients was a liar and a cheat who treated them like best friends while ripping them off, a retired couple who fell victim say.
Anthony Paul Torre, 57, pleaded guilty to three counts of stealing and two counts of fraud after embezzling $1,030,000 from eight clients between 2010 and 2015.
