A new film and television studio is being planned for Anglesey to capitalise on the growing number of productions attracted to the spectacular locations across North Wales. Opening for business in October 2022 Aria Studios will have two fully soundproofed studio stages offering a total of 20,000 square foot of filming space in Llangefni.
Aria Studios will provide attractive space and facilities for production companies based in the region, as well as for other companies within and outside of Wales who see opportunities to film in the area. Established by Rondo Media and S4C’s commercial arm, S4C Digital Media Limited, with the support of Welsh Government through Creative Wales, the £1.6m studio facility will provide significant opportunities for attracting inward investment in the creative sector to North Wales.
