EA Sports have officially confirmed the player ratings for FIFA 23's FUT Heroes, with 21 new FUT Heroes items being released in total.
It was recently announced that EA and FIFA 23 would be collaborating with entertainment company Marvel, with each FUT Heroes dynamic player image officially illustrated by Marvel comics. After introducing the new player items in FIFA 22, EA will be releasing a brand new set of FUT Heroes in FIFA 23, with 21 new items to be released in total.
FUT Heroes items are awarded to players who have lived up to the cult-hero status throughout their careers, with each card possessing unique, league-specific chemistry. In FIFA 23, Jay-Jay Ococha and Hidetoshi Nakata are both being released as FUT Heroes, meaning they will no longer be FUT Icons in FUT.
FIFA 23 will receive a worldwide release on Friday, September 30, 2022, where players will be able to use the new FUT Heroes in the FIFA Ultimate Team game mode. In total, there are seven Premier League FUT Heroes being released in FIFA 23, including Yaya Toure, Dirk Kuyt and Harry Kewell.
FIFA 23 FUT Heroes ratings revealed
Rudi Voller and Diego Forlan are the two highest-rated FUT Heroes in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with both rated 91 overall. Yaya Toure, Javier Mascherano and Ricardo Carvalho are the highest-rated Premier League Heroes (89 overall), whilst Peter Crouch is the lowest at 86 overall.

Like in FIFA 22, each FUT Hero could receive an upgraded, special version of their cards later in the FIFA 23 cycle to celebrate a FUT promo. This could also see some of the Heroes receive a new league.
FIFA 23 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30. Early access for FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition begins on September 27, 2022.
