A Manchester City star and two Manchester United legends feature in FIFA 23's FUT Birthday Team 1 release, with eight FUT Birthday Icons included.
One of the favourites amongst the FUT community, the FIFA 23 FUT Birthday promo celebrates the anniversary of the Ultimate Team game mode in FIFA titles. FIFA 23 celebrates the 14th birthday of FUT, and the content released seems better than ever before.
Alongside FUT Birthday Team 1, EA Sports has released eight FUT Birthday Icons, with two former United legends included in the squad. What makes the FUT Birthday promo such a hit with FIFA fans is that not only are players handed big boosts to their stats, but they also receive either five-star skill moves or five-star weak foot — or sometimes even both.
City midfielder Bernardo Silva stars in the promo, with the Portugal international, rated 93 overall whilst boasting some incredible stats and a five-star weak foot. United legends Eric Cantona and George Best feature in the FUT Birthday Icons squad, with both players rated 94 overall.
The FIFA 23 FUT Birthday and FUT Birthday Icons Team 1 squads are now live in Ultimate Team packs and will be available until Friday, March 31 at 5.59pm GMT/ 12.59pm ET/ 9.59am PT.

Alongside the promo is a FUT Birthday Swaps event, where players can earn player tokens in exchange for some great rewards. Only a handful have been released so far, with tokens available to find in SBCs, Objectives and the FUT Store.
FIFA fans can also expect well-valued SBCs and Objectives during the FUT Birthday promo, whilst free Packs could also be handed out as they have been in past FIFA's. Team 2 of the FUT Birthday promo could be released on Friday, March 31 at 6pm GMT/ 2pm ET/ 11am PT, whilst a mini-release could potentially drop in FUT on Sunday, March 26 at 6pm GMT/ 2pm ET/ 11am PT.
