Fermanagh singer on releasing first solo album at age of 74

A well-known Fermanagh singer is set to release his debut solo album at the tender age of 74.

Gabriel McArdle from Kinawley, or ‘Gabie’ as he is known, is regarded as an icon in folk singing circles across Ulster.

His new album, ‘The Fermanagh Blackbird’, has been described as a reflection of his life and a ‘snapshot in time’.
