Fears $5 million upgrade to 'iconic' Port Macquarie breakwall in NSW will instead be 'total destruction'

The proposed upgrade to Port Macquarie's popular southern breakwall is continuing to cause controversy. 

The majority of Port Macquarie-Hastings councillors have voted 7–2  in favour of seeking a "thorough" independent review of the $5 million state project.
