Fearne Cotton shares post-Christmas health update with fans

Radio and TV presenter Fearne Cotton has shared the realities of her Christmas with her fans. In an Instagram post she gave her followers a health update and playfully took the mickey out of herself.

Posting a photo of herself wearing a brown dressing gown, with her hair in a messy bun and wearing no makeup she revealed she had been "battling off a chest infection" and compared herself to Star Wars character Luke Skywalker.

She said: "I would love to dazzle you with some pictures of me wearing a sparkly festive outfit, or chugging back some mulled wine with a red lippy on, but actually I've been watching I Hate Suzie Too, Motherland, and playing good old fashioned Battle Ships with my kids, dressed like a fluffy Luke Skywalker battling off a chest infection. Christmas limbo at its finest."

Fearne is married to Jesse Wood, the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, and they have two children together Rex Rayne Wood, born in 2013, and Honey Krissy Wood, born in 2015. Recently Fearne returned alongside close friend Holly Willoughby on the final ever episode of Celebrity Juice, hosted by Keith Lemon.

The episode, which was entitled Celebrity Juice: The Happy Ending, was jampacked with features and stars, including current team captains Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore and guests Will Mellor, Big Narstie, Maya Jama, Chris Ramsey, Joey Essex, Johnny Vegas and Joe Swash. Emily, Laura, Holly and Fearne belted out a rendition of Shania Twain's Man! I Feel Like A Woman. The chaotic farewell also saw Emily and Joey share a sneaky kiss, while Holly fell down the stairs backwards as she tried to steal a bit of cardboard from Fearne.

Fearne appeared on Celebrity Juice for 10 years from 2008 to 2018 and currently has a BBC Radio Two show and her successful podcast Happy Place.
