FC Edinburgh have discovered their SPFL Trust Trophy round three fate.
The newly promoted Scottish League One side will face division rivals Queen of the South at Palmerston with a spot in the fourth round up for grabs to the winner.
The capital club defeated Stranraer 3-2 in the last round to book their place in today's draw with Daniel Handling netting a hat-trick for Alan Maybury's men. They've started life in Scotland's third tier in top form picking up three wins from their first five outings. That run have moved FC Edinburgh into fourth spot and just two points adrift of joint leaders Airdrie and Dunfermline at the League One summit. Maybury and Co face the Diamonds next time out in the league.

On the start his side have made to the new campaign, he said: "It's been a brilliant start for us so the win puts us back in the play-off places. I thought we took a big step forward against Clyde on Saturday and really stood up the challenge which is really pleasing.
"It's good to pick up our first win in the league at home but to be fair we've had to play the two title favourites in Falkirk and Dunfermline so it hasn't been easy."
FC Edinburgh will travel to Queen of the South on the weekend of September 24/25.
