Md Ruhul Amin Fakir, the father of Mohammed Shariful Islam, the man who has been accused of attacking Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, has come out in defence of his son and claimed that he has been 'framed'.
Fakir, in an interview with IANS, called out the discrepancies, particularly the CCTV footage showing the alleged suspect. "From what is shown in the CCTV… my son never keeps his hair long. I believe my son is being framed," he said and denied any resemblance between his son and the individual seen in the footage.
