A Jewish father and his adult son have been targeted in an antisemitic attack on board a London train.
The shocking assault saw a thug removed the son's head covering, before trying to pull him from the train.
The attack happened at roughly 1pm on December 13 as the father and son travelled from Euston to Watford Junction.
"A man walked past them before turning back to sit opposite them before using threatening and antisemitic language," said British Transport Police in a statement on Wednesday, as it released photos of a man officers want to trace.
"As he stood to leave, he grabbed the head covering from the son and walked toward the door.
"The son challenged him to get his head covering back, when the man started pulling the son out of the train.
"The father intervened and the man left the train at Harrow and Wealdstone."
Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help their investigation.
The incident comes amid a huge rise in antisemitic attacks in London, and more widely, since the recent fighting between Israel and Hamas broke out on October 7.
In its most recent figures, released on December 13, Jewish security charity CST said in the 68 days since Hamas launched its attack on Israel, it had recorded at least 2,093 antisemitic incidents across the UK.
It marked a rise of 534 per cent, compared to the same period the previous year.
The majority of the incidents - 1,223 as of December 13 - were reported in London.
Another recent incident on Monday afternoon saw a knife-wielding man filmed shouting “antisemitic abuse” outside a kosher supermarket in Golders Green, before being wrestled to the floor.
