Fatboy Slim will be coming to Newcastle next year as part of his huge 2023 tour. The superstar DJ, producer and songwriter will be playing Newcastle's O2 City Hall on March 2, 2023.
Fans of the musician, who's real name is Norman Cook, will be able to buy tickets on Friday, September 23 via See Tickets and Ticketmaster.
Cook will be bringing Y'All are the Music, We're Just the DJs to various venues across the UK, including Newcastle, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and more. Venues chosen for the gigs are deliberately intimate, with demand expecting to be high.

Making the announcement Cook said: “Coming out of Covid I have played many different types of shows from arenas to the Gas Tower at Glastonbury and I just find the closer I am to the audience the more I love it. This is what this tour brings.”
Fatboy Slim has topped the charts, winning numerous BRIT, Grammy and MTV Awards for his music as well as setting records for the big way he takes to the decks. Before he became revered for his floor-filling tunes, Cook played bass for the indie-rock band The Housemartins in the late ’80s.
In the ’90s, he got into producing and started experimenting with bassline, dub, house and reggae. By 1996, he’d adopted name Fatboy Slim and released the album Better Living Through Chemistry. Throughout the ’00s and ’10s, often donning a Hawaiian shirt, he held numerous club residencies and made many unforgettable live performances playing festivals, stadiums and even boats. In late 2016, Fatboy Slim decided to go even bigger by creating an in-the-round experience, where huge venues like arenas are essentially transformed into nightclubs.
