Fatal Accident Inquiry launched into death of Renfrewshire double-murderer

Murder Renfrewshire Prison Crown Office Edinburgh Pneumonia

A multiple murderer from Renfrewshire who died in jail is the subject of a Fatal Accident Inquiry that will begin later this year.

Robert Chalmers passed away at the Western General Hospital, in Edinburgh, in April last year after contracting pneumonia.

The twisted killer had been serving a life sentence for the murder of 24-year-old Samantha Wright in 2009.
