Fashion fans discover £26 dupe that look 'exactly the same' as Nike 'Panda' Dunk Lows after UK restock completely sells out

It's become almost impossible to head into the city centre and not see fashion fans wearing a pair of Nike trainers. The trainer brand has built a loyal fanbase over decades, with some pairs being sold for thousands of pounds.

Thanks to social media platforms like Instagram, certain pairs of Nike trainers are like gold dust, and shoppers find themselves having to be put on waiting lists and in draws to make sure they're able to bag a pair. It's become something of a competitive sport.

At present, thousands of shoppers are eyeing up the Black and White 'Panda' Dunks - which have been seen on various celebrities and influencers. Last week thousands of hopefuls flocked to Nike's website in the hopes of copping a pair after a restock of the Nike Dunk Low "Pandas" was announced.

Unfortunately, in what has become common place for sneakerheads, many were left bitterly disappointed, as the Dunks, having been restocked at 8am on the Nike website, quickly sold out. Many pairs have now been put up for resale on Ebay, though with a much heftier price tag than the original.

However, thanks to TikTok you can always count on finding a much cheaper dupe for your must have product. TikTok user martaeebriodyy recently posted a video to her followers placing two versions of the Dunk Lows side by side asking them to guess which one is a dupe and which one is from Nike.

At the start of the video she points at the shoes and says: "I have two pairs of Dunks, one is from the gate, I'm not going to tell you which one. But we're going to compare them, and then you can make up your mind."

She displays the Panda dunks to the pink and white from different angles, closely looking at the stitching, logo and soles of the shoes and comments how "they look the same" throughout the video. At the end she finally reveals that it is her Pandas that are from DHGate, a Chinese online marketplace that sells their version of dunks for £25.99.

Martae's followers were quick to ask her for a link on the video which has been viewed over 37.7k. However, one commenter was quick to point out that a shipping fee for the shoes can be quite hefty by saying: "Was just about to purchase until I saw the shipping fee."

Other, more accessible retailers like Primark and New Look also have their own version of Nike trainers on shelves. But for many, nothing will beat the original.
