Saavi Ki Savaari actor Farman Haider started his acting career three years ago and he is happy with the way his career has shaped up. At one point though, Farman who has studied law, was all set to don the black coat, but destiny had other plans for him.
Talking about his journey from becoming a lawyer to an actor, he shares, "It was my parents' dream to see me become an actor. I think they saw something in me which I didn’t back then (smiles). I always wanted to make my parents happy and proud, so you can say that I’m living their dream."
Farman adds, "Not to boast about it, but I think it’s not easy for someone who comes from a small town in UP to reach here, knowing nothing about this field."
But he is glad he took the decision to shift to Mumbai even though the path wasn't easy. "I came here to this city of dreams and began learning the ropes and grooming myself from scratch to become an actor. All this didn't come easy, but I did make it happen. That's how life is, it teaches you everything and I have no complaints about my journey. The challenges I’ve faced have made me the man I am today," he says.
Farman says it's important to have a back-up plan in life. He says, "I am a laywer and can start practising if required, but right now I am happy being an actor and enjoying my work. The journey has been good and I am grateful for it. I think the universe always has bigger plans for us. I never thought I’d come this far, so I’m sure whatever is written for me is better than I can ever imagine. So I will continue pursuing this path."
