Far Far West patch 0.1.1.3: New Elite enemies, weapon buffs, Joker buffs, difficulty buffs, more

Far Far West patch 0.1.1.3 dropped on June 5, 2026, and it brings a massive wave of changes to the Early Access co-op shooter.

Four brand-new Elite enemy types are now in the game, several Jokers and weapons have been buffed, enemy difficulty scaling has been buffed as well across the board, and a lot more.

New Elite enemies are the biggest addition in FFW patch 0.1.1.3

The Elite enemies are bigger, hit harder, move differently, and come with extra HP. They have a 75 percent chance to spawn whenever you trigger a storm, and that does not apply to boss storms.

Here’s a breakdown of each new Elite:

Elite Prowler The Elite Prowler runs faster, spams its attacks at a higher rate, and has a serious HP pool
Elite Lich The Elite Lich throws out three shockwaves at once and follows that up with semi-homing projectiles
In a chaotic firefight with three other players on screen, this thing becomes a genuine threat
Elite Slinger The Elite Slinger disappears and repositions while still sending bullets your way
Elite Bomber The Elite Bomber now has rapid-fire capabilities and can unleash a full barrage

All weapon changes in patch 0.1.1.3

Quad Cylinder is buffed and Bow is reworked

The Quad Cylinder’s Hipfire and ADS accuracy are both up by 20 percent, making a big difference in mid-range engagements where the weapon felt inconsistent before. The inspect animation has also been shortened and no longer takes up the entire screen.

The core issue with the Bow was that its explosion-based damage didn’t actually award XP, which meant you weren’t gaining levels the way you should be, even when your shots landed perfectly. With patch 0.1.1.3, explosions now grant XP based on the amount of damage dealt and the number of enemies caught in the blast.

All Joker buffs in FFW patch 0.1.1.3

Several Jokers received buffs in this patch, and most of them address either usability issues or power floors that were sitting too low.

Rush Blast, Eagle Lever, and Aiming Burst are buffed

For Rush Blast, previously only the first bullet in your magazine had 100 percent accuracy and extended range. Now, the first three bullets in your magazine carry those bonuses. Additionally, when Rush Blast is active, the shotgun now shows a dot crosshair.

Consecutive hits with Eagle Lever without missing now grant 10 percent damage per stack, up from 5 percent. The cap stays at 50 percent, meaning you reach max damage in five hits instead of ten.

While aiming for perfect accuracy with Aiming Burst, you were also being slowed down. That movement penalty has been removed. Now you get perfect accuracy while aiming, and you can still move at full speed.

Homing Burst is reworked, and Machine Gun Joker is kinda buffed

The version before patch 0.1.1.3 triggered every 20 bullets, but the new version ties the homing bullets to your magazine structure, as the first and last shots in your magazine each fire five homing bullets at nearby enemies.

The Machine Gun Joker was supposed to help the Bow by increasing Firerate, but it did nothing for the Bow as a stat. It now correctly increases Bend Speed for the Bow instead, which actually affects how the weapon performs.

All Spell changes

Elec Portal is buffed

In multiplayer, the Elec Portal previously shared a single pool of portals among players, which created awkward situations where one person’s actions removed another player’s setup. Now, every player gets their own independent set of two portals.

In a full four-player lobby, that’s a potential of eight portals total on the field. Coordination-heavy builds just got a lot more viable.

New Voodoo combo

Corruption and Drain now work together as a combo through Voodoo.

Enemy difficulty buffs

The Elite enemies aren’t the only difficulty increase in this patch. Several existing Cryptic enemies have been tightened up across difficulty tiers.

Cryptic Kamikaze On the base version, there used to be a half-second delay after the spawn animation before it attacked
That delay is gone, and it comes at you the moment it finishes spawning
On Nightmare, specifically, it also now jumps directly at the player
Cryptic Slinger On Very Hard and above, its projectiles no longer arc with gravity, making them harder to predict and dodge at range
They’re also faster
Cryptic Prowler Invisibility now kicks in from Hard onward (instead of Very Hard)
On Very Hard, it now teleports when hit, breaking your ability to chain damage
In Nightmare, it stays permanently invisible
Cryptic Lich Its shockwave is now both wider and faster, shrinking your dodge window significantly
On Nightmare, it also fires a homing projectile

Gas Bomb has been adjusted. The number of items required at each stage of the Gas Bomb objective has been reduced.

Also, over 50 bugs were addressed in this patch. You can check their official blog post on Steam for more details. There’s also a new THISCODEISFAKE promo code to redeem for a free gamba pull.
