Fantasy football Week 5 injury report: Kyle Pitts and Keenan Allen are out, while Amon Ra St. Brown’s status is up in the air

Injuries suck, but they are a part of professional sports. Of course, they’re also part of fantasy sports and betting. In both instances, they can be the difference between wins and losses on a weekly basis.

As a fantasy football manager, you’ll need to know which players are in and which are out. We’re here to help you keep a tab on all of the important ones.

We’re four games into the NFL season and hits are starting to take a toll on players’ bodies. As a result, the list of injuries is steadily growing.

Get caught up on which players will and will not play in Week 5.

WR Rashod Bateman - Baltimore Ravens

If Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ offense are going to get back on track against a tough Bengals defense, they’ll have to do so without their top wideout.

QB Tua Tagovailoa - Miami Dolphins

Thankfully, Tua is recovering well after a very scary head injury that forced him to exit Week 4’s Thursday Night Football game vs. Cincinnati. He’ll miss Week 5.

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - Detroit Lions

(Kirthmon F. Dozier / USA TODAY NETWORK)

The sensational second-year receiver missed Week 4 with an ankle injury and his status for Sunday’s game against the Patriots is still up in the air. He’s officially questionable.

WR Tee Higgins - Cincinnati Bengals

(Katie Stratman-USA TODAY Sports)

Tee Huggins was gimpy for much of Cincy’s Week 4 win over the Miami Dolphins, but you wouldn’t have been able to tell by his seven catches for 124 yards and a touchdown. He was limited at practice all week but should be good to go on Sunday, despite being listed as questionable.

RB D'Andre Swift - Detroit Lions

(Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports)

Make it two-straight weeks the Lions will be without their RB1.

QB Mac Jones - New England Patriots

The ankle is getting better but it still looks as though mac Jones will remain on the sideline. He’s listed as doubtful to play.

TE Kyle Pitts - Atlanta Falcons

The hammy issue is going to keep Pitts out of the lineup this Sunday against the Buccaneers.

WR Keenan Allen - Los Angeles Chargers

Keenan Allen caught four passes for 66 yards in Week 1. He hasn’t seen the field since, as he’s dealt with a hamstring injury. He’ll remain out for Week 5.

WR Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle - Miami Dolphins

(Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports)

Both were out on the practice field on Friday, but both are listed as questionable. We’ll know more soon.

WR Jahan Dotson - Washington Commanders

(Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports)

Jahan Dotson has had a heck of a start to his NFL career. The hot start will take a brief pause, as Dotson misses Week 5.

RB Alvin Kamara - New Orleans Saints

(Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports)

While questionable, there’s optimism that Kamara returns from injury in Week 5 to face the Seahawks.

WR CeeDee Lamb - Dallas Cowboys

(AP Photo/Michael Ainsworth)

Questionable for Sunday, but probably going to play.

WR Isaiah McKenzie - Buffalo Bills

McKenzie (concussion) has been feeling good, but he hasn’t been cleared for Sunday yet. If he does play, he could have a good week.

WR Michael Thomas - New Orleans Saints

(Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports)

The Michael Thomas return has been fun, this season. However, this will be the second-straight week he’s missed with an injury. Hopefully, the injury bug isn’t back for good.
