Just like the rest of the One Direction fan base, it appears that Zoë Kravitz‘s ex-fiancé Channing Tatum has something cryptic to say regarding the actor’s reported engagement to Harry Styles.
After multiple sources confirmed that Harry and Zoë were indeed to be wed in the future, Channing shared a cryptic poem, composed by John Roedel, on his Instagram Stories.
In the now-expired post, which has since been reshared by fans, the poem reads:
“My brain and / heart divorced / a decade ago / over who was / to blame about / how big of a mess / I have become / eventually, / they couldn’t be / in the same room / with each other.”
“Read,” Channing wrote alongside the poem, which was posted to the tune of “Faith’s Hymn” by the Beautiful Chorus choir.
Fans react to Channing Tatum’s Instagram Story
While it’s not clear why the Step Up actor shared the post (at the end of the day, it’s his feed, he can do what he wants), fans immediately accused him of “crashing out” over the recent news regarding his ex’s engagement to the former boy band member.
Channing and Zoë were first romantically linked in 2021 and eventually got engaged in 2023 after two years of dating. But shortly after the premiere of Blink Twice — a project they both worked on — the pair split.
In April 2025, Australian model Inka Williams hard-launched her relationship with Channing in a birthday post.
Despite the demise of their engagement, inside sources have claimed Channing and Zoë are on good terms.
“There was no dramatic falling out between Channing and Zoë,” an inside source told Page Six in November 2024.
“They really just grew apart and decided it was best for them to go their separate ways.”
As for Harry and Zoë, the pair lit the internet on fire last week after paparazzi pics captured the Batman actor with a ‘yuge piece of bling.

The pair have yet to come out publicly confirming their new relationship status. However, sources close to the couple have confirmed their engagement, and just like Channing (allegedly), fans have been crashing out.
