The Lancaster Bomber is set to fly through the Peak District next week for a Derbyshire carnival. The famous Second World War plane will fly over the Chapel Carnival in Chapel-en-le-Frith on Saturday, June 18.
The plane will take flight over a parade which takes place at the annual Peak District carnival. The Chapel branch of the Royal British Legion have set up the event and organisers say the bomber will fly over at 1.19pm.
Derbyshire Live reports that the Lancaster Bomber is considered to be the most successful RAF aircraft used during the Second World War. Just two planes remain airworthy out of the 7,377 which were built and only one is in the UK.

This follows a handful of Lancaster Bomber fly overs planned for the beautiful Derbyshire airspace. Last month, a bomber flew over Hardwick Hall to commemorate the anniversary of the Dambusters operation.
In May, the bomber also flew over the Nottinghamshire County Show at Newark Showground for the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Then in July there will be a bomber flypast at the Stanley Village Gala on July 2. The event is an annual commemorative service held in memory of the W5795 Stanley Wellington Bomber crash.
