Family of seven found living in heartbreaking conditions without furniture or carpets

A family of seven were found living in "heartbreaking" conditions in a home with hardly any furniture or carpets.

A resident raised the alarm and called their local councillor saying they were concerned about a family living in Walton, Liverpool.

Councillor Gerard Wood joined volunteers from Liverpool 6 Community Centre to visit the family and saw the "heartbreaking" scene, LiverpoolECHO reports.
