The brother of the suspect, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, described him as a kind and soft-spoken individual, completely at odds with the actions he is accused of.
Abdur Jabbar and their father, Rahim, expressed their confusion and sorrow, stating that they never saw any signs of radicalization or violent tendencies in Shamsud. They described him as a caring father of three who never hinted at any troubles or extremist beliefs.
