The family of missing Patrick Clark are 'extremely worried' about his welfare as officers issue a renewed appeal to find the pensioner who vanished on January 31.
The 70-year-old, from Gourock, was last seen at Lyle’s pub- formerly Monteith's - on Shore Street, around 12.10am on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
Patrick is described as white, 5ft 8ins in height with short grey/white hair. He is said to be in poor health and authorities are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Extensive enquiries and searches have been carried out, led by specialist officers including air support and the dive and marine unit.
A police presence has remained in the area and officers have carried out door to door enquiries and are continuing to review CCTV in a bid to trace Patrick.
Chief Inspector Damian Kane said: “As time goes on we are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Patrick. His family are extremely worried and are being supported by officers at this difficult time.
“Extensive searches and enquiries have been carried out but despite efforts so far Patrick has not yet been found.
“Patrick was last seen four weeks ago on Shore Street, Gourock and we are asking people to cast their minds back and think if they have seen Patrick since.
“Anyone who has seen him or who has any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact us. Any information, no matter how small or basic it may seem, could be significant and I would encourage people to get in touch.”
