The family of a protester shot dead by US border agents have accused the Trump administration of telling "sickening lies" about the circumstances of his death.

Alex Jeffrey Pretti, 37, an intensive care nurse who cared for military veterans, was killed during an anti-ICE demonstration in Minneapolis on Saturday.
