Gemma Owen 's family have reportedly been trying to save her career behind the scenes after she received backlash on the show.

The 19-year-old beauty has already been slammed by former Love Island contestants Marcel Somerville, Amber Gill, and Chloe Burrows, and she has been labelled as 'nasty' and 'rude' by unimpressed Love Island fans, writes The Mirror.

Viewers of the popular show have been wound up by Gemma's attitude towards Liam, who she was initially paired with, before moving on to Italian Stallion, Davide.
