Families 'ran to safety' after a mass restaurant brawl broke out during a Mother's Day meal.
Cheshire Police swooped on the restaurant yesterday after a fight broke out at the Istanbul Grill in Culcheth, near Leigh at around 6.30pm.
Onlookers reported witnessing arguing, shouting and swearing before glasses were 'thrown and smashed' at the restaurant. Families had to run out to the street with their crying little ones during the 'scary' ordeal.
