A Falkirk community group who handed out 50 sets of free bags of food on Saturday were stunned when it was all gone in just 40 minutes.
The give-away at Bainsford Community Hall on Saturday was advertised as taking place between 12 and 3pm - but by quarter to 12 a queue had already formed at the door.
As promised, it was first come, first served for the pre-packed bags of groceries that included fresh vegetables.
