The Atlanta Falcons kept four running backs on their first 53-man roster of the 2022 NFL season. Cordarrelle Patterson is the top guy, Damien Williams and Tyler Allgeier will likely fight for the No. 2 spot, and CB-turned-RB Avery Williams is the team’s primary kick/punt returner.
This left both Caleb Huntley and Qadree Ollison on the outside looking in when the team announced final cuts on Tuesday. Fortunately for Huntley, the Falcons plan to bring him back on the practice squad, according to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein.
