In Tottenham's 3-2 defeat to Southampton on Wednesday, Emerson Royal produced a performance that included mistakes and a lack of the quality that is required.
Antonio Conte's side had a one goal lead on two occasions but failed to get three points against Ralph Hasenhuttl's side.
Spurs had just eight shots, to Southampton's 23, but it was the Lilywhites' defensive mistakes that led to Saints' two goals in two minutes, to secure them the victory.
