Max Verstappen can win the 2022 F1 Drivers’ Championship at next weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix.
Sergio Perez’s thrilling victory in the wet and delayed Singapore Grand Prix reduced the Dutchman’s lead atop the title standings, with Charles Leclerc second.
Carlos Sainz came home third before Verstappen could only muster seventh, while Lewis Hamilton was eighth and George Russell missed out on the points altogether.
