A reveller has been captured climbing on top of a famous Edinburgh brass statue in a dangerous stunt.
Since being unveiled in 2005, the two metal giraffes outside the Omni Centre shopping centre have been mistaken as climbing apparatus on more than one occasion.
The life-size models, designed by Helen Dennerly and named the 'Dreaming Spires' stand tall outside the city centre building that is famous for its restaurants and VUE cinema on the top floor.

On this occasion, one daring resident took it upon themselves to attempt the dangerous climb on top of the larger giraffe, being filmed by his mates after dark in what could have resulted in serious damage.
The video, captioned: "Boys riding horses," means the individuals must have got their animals confused before posting the video.
Considering the animals are in fact giraffe's it is quite the climb to secure yourself on top of the metal sculptures, hence the potential risk of losing balance and finding yourself in a heap at the bottom, probably with one or two broken bones into the bargain.
Back in May, another individual was recorded sitting unbothered on top of one of the giraffe's in broad daylight, as a visitor to the city was puzzled as to what they were witnessing. The one time of the day which you definitely don't expect to see someone risking the dangerous climb is during the day, when hundreds of people are walking past.
The two sculptures, named Martha and Gilbert, were originally temporary, although were made permanent 17 years ago, with Omni striking an affinity with Giraffe's in particular and also have a partnership with Edinburgh Zoo.
