'Extraordinary' court appeal of teen's murder sentence

An "extraordinary" appeal will be launched over a teenager who fatally stabbed a mother in a brutal Boxing Day home invasion.

Queensland's attorney-general has successfully applied to the High Court to appeal a decision to reduce the juvenile's sentence for the horror attack that sparked controversial law reforms.
