Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers took advantage of the bye week and made a huge push in the second half of the year, nearly making the playoffs. Pittsburgh is hoping lightning strikes twice and the Steelers can get the team on track after an early bye week this season.
This week the Steelers travel out to Los Angeles to take on the 3-3 Rams. LA is coming off a 26-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals. They are down to their third-string running back but this hasn’t swayed the experts from giving them a great chance to upend the Steelers.
The folks over the NFL Pick Watch aggregate expert picks from all over the internet and they have the experts picking the Rams 83 to 17 percent. The fan vote isn’t any better with 85 percent of fan votes going to the Rams with only 15 percent going to the Steelers.
Pittsburgh’s last game was a convincing win over the Baltimore Ravens but it is unclear if that momentum can carry over to this week’s game.
