Stacey Solomon has recently made headlines as she said in a podcast that you should wash your bedding once a week, which was a shock to some people. Many took to Twitter to say whether they agree with what Solomon said or not.
And the debate has prompted experts to have their say on pyjamas. Pyjamas are different to garments that we wash after every use like underwear and socks, so it can sometimes be hard to know when the right time to wash them is.
A spokesman for women's luxury loungewear experts Pretty You London said: "Pyjamas are the only intimate clothing we wear on a regular basis, with many people wearing them as the only layer and without underwear beneath. This closeness to our skin and other parts of our bodies for 6 to 8 hours per night under bedding makes them an ideal breeding ground for bacteria and other germs.
