Mould in a bathroom can be a real issue, especially if it gets into cupboards where you store toothbrushes and face wipes.
As well as looking unpleasant, the bacteria can prove harmful and can damage not only your cupboard but also your bathroom walls if it is able to set in.
And with that in mind, expert Warren Kinloch from Bathroom Deal has shared an "ultimate black mould killer" to get rid of the nasty build-up.
Warren says: "There are two household items you’ll likely already have in your cupboard that are great for getting rid of bathroom mould - baking soda and vinegar!
"Using a teaspoon of baking soda and water in a spray bottle and spraying directly onto the mould will not only help to remove it, but also assist in getting rid of any damp or musty smells mould often brings."
The expert advises spraying white vinegar directly onto the mouldy area undiluted and leave for one to two hours before scrubbing away.
"For the ultimate black mould killer, combine baking soda, white vinegar, and water together to create a solution that’s much tougher and likely to kill stronger mould," the ace adds.
For those who don't have the products in their cupboard Sainsbury's Bicarbonate Of Soda costs just £1.55 and you can pick up white vinegar from Amazon for £6.95.
Warren also reveals how often you should be cleaning your bath mat, which can also become mouldy if you aren't careful.
"Bath mats are notoriously unsanitary and recent studies have even shown that most people will only wash them once or twice a year, leaving them completely covered in bacteria and with the potential to grow mould in the fibres," the expert says.
"As a bathroom expert, I advise you to wash your fabric bath mats once or twice per week to keep them as bacteria free as possible.
"When you wash them you can also use a diluted white vinegar solution to really scrub out the dirt. However, even if you do clean them twice a week, you still need to be replacing them every year."
