Expert says Irish households need to start preparing as clocks go back on October 30

The clocks will be going back an hour on October 30 as darker mornings and evenings take hold for the winter months.

However, to make the transition a little easier, Dr Lindsay Browning, psychologist, neuroscientist and sleep expert for And So To Bed, said people should start their preparations now.

In Ireland, the clocks go forward one hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March and back one hour at 2am on the last Sunday in October.
