While 'Tejas'promises a unique storyline centred around an Indian Air Force pilot, Wankhede points out that the film has not yet generated the kind of buzz typically expected for a major release. He attributes this, in part, to the film's promotional strategies. "Tejas is looking dull and typed," Wankhede remarks, adding, "It doesn't hold the excitement for any potential blockbuster."
