NEW DELHI: Abdul Rashid was sitting at his fruit and vegetable shop, at Shaheedi Chowk intersection in Jammu, when some nearby shopkeepers rushed to him and began congratulating him. Rashid was taken aback, but he greeted everyone and then asked what had happened. One of the men said 'Abdul bhai, aapke bete ne kamaal kar diya, 3 wicket liye ek over mein' (Abdul bhai, you son has done wonders. He has just taken 3 wickets in one over). Rashid smiled and thanked everyone after learning about his son's latest heroics in the IPL.
After some time, his phone started ringing. It was his son - Umran Malik, the fastest bowler in India currently and someone who has once again been taking the IPL by storm.
