'Exciting talent for...': Abhishek Sharma earns high praise from Travis Head

NEW DELHI: After the two of them teamed to overwhelm the Lucknow Super Giants bowling attack in a record IPL chase in Hyderabad, Travis Head, who is known for his destructiveness, referred to Abhishek Sharma, his Sunrisers Hyderabad opening partner, as an exciting talent for Indian cricket.

One of the most explosive duos in the IPL this year, Head (89 not out off 30) and Sharma (75 not out off 28), utterly destroyed the 166-run target in only 9.4 overs. It was the highest 10-over score in men's T20 cricket history.
