A dessert restaurant chain that caused a huge stir when it first opened in Glasgow has just launched a new luxury afternoon tea menu.
The team behind Heavenly Desserts says the new menu, which will be on offer at both its Silverburn and Sauchiehall Street restaurants, comprises of a selection of savoury finger sandwiches, exquisite teas and infusions, along with delectable scones and fresh strawberries.
A variety of their popular minis – such as French macarons, fine pistachio baklava, and mini chocolate and pistachio tarts – are also included in the indulgent new menu.
Priced at £29.95 for two, they say the afternoon tea is the ideal sharing option and can be enjoyed alongside the brand's refreshed signature menu and an all-new bespoke vegan menu, which launched earlier this year.

Co-founder and managing director of Heavenly Desserts, Yousif Aslam, said: “The launch of Heavenly Desserts in Glasgow’s Silverburn shopping centre in May went down a storm – so we are really pleased to be embarking on a new venture in the bustling city centre with our second Scottish location.
“We are also very excited to be launching our afternoon tea menu at our new premises and look forward to sharing our latest creation with Glasgow’s sweet-toothed audience.
"We are proud to be the first in the dessert restaurant sector to offer afternoon tea to guests, and are committed to elevating our offering further by expanding our product range and continuing to champion innovation as one of the core tenets of our business."
