A secondary school in Bolton is closed today (Tuesday January 18) due to 'unexpected circumstances'.
Parents of children at Ladybridge High School, in Deane, were told about the closure yesterday evening.
The school also posted a message on its official website, informing people of the decision.

A message on the website reads: "Emergency School Closure – Tuesday 18 January.
"Due to unexpected circumstances, school will be closed tomorrow.
"Information has been sent to parents/carers this evening via email and text."
Mock exams were scheduled to take place at the school today but these will now have to be rescheduled.
In a comment on Facebook, a spokesman for the school wrote: "The exams due to take place will be rescheduled and new dates advised to parents/carers and learners as soon as possible."
